Blue Screen error message OXE2590410, OX00000000, OX8055159A, Ox00
From: paulagan Date: Sun, 3 May 2009 17:02:01 -0700 I was in the middle of playing ScrabbleBlast on MSN when a message came up saying that an update encountered a problem. Then MCAfee screen came on and said computer wasn't protected. I tried to do a fix, but it couldn't resolve the problem. Next thing, I get this Blue Screen which says: PAGE_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to resolve or disable components, restart, F8, Advanced< Start UP, Safe Mode. Tech info; STOP: OX00000050 (OXE2590410, OX00000000,OX8055159A, OX000000001) If a driver is identified, disable the driver or check with manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters." After all of this, I tried to reset the computer to April 30 in safe mode, hoping this would resolve the issue, but I think I made it worse. Now the computer is not even recognizing the wireless adapter, even though it's plugged in. I still can't get past the Blue Screen, and I can't even shut off, without unplugging the Tower. Is there any help, or do I need to buy a new computer? I have a Dell 8400 with Windows XP |
