Screen Saver acting up

Hi All

For some reason my screen saver doesn't always start. Sometimes it
does other times it doesn't.

No apps running...right now it's set to the WinXP logo at 12 minutes
but as I said sometimes it kicks in other times it won't.

What controls the screen saver? Is it a registry entry?

Desktop.ini control it?

Have you looked at your mouse settings? It would appear that something
has moved during the 12 minute period when you thought you were idle.
You say that you have no apps running, are there any tasks scheduled?
